Navigating to a different view in the Model tab won't affect the view in a locked viewport. If you create a viewport in a Layout tab, and then go into that viewport and navigate to a certain view of the model, and then leave the viewport and lock it, then that viewport will always have that view of the model. I'm promoting it to all my designer friends meanwhile I'm not telling them I can't figure out the annotation part :-( I'm frustrated but I want to believe at some point I'll be good. I found the measurement tools but what about arrows? door opening directions etc? Is there a way I can use the blocks that I created to turn them into view ports and then select each view ie top, front etc.? So those layout pages are the ones that you can print in ie 11x17 or 24x36? I need Bricscad friend so that I don't give up. All I'm learning now is by myself with the help area on their website and youtube.

Now I'm at this point where I'm trying to create my plans and I'm watching all the videos and it's not working and my manhood is taking a dive. Good enough that I barely use Sketchup anymore which I was pretty descent. I wish there was a good video that explained how to make different variations of title blocks, and the options.I'm new to Bricscad. Why is it so difficult to rotate an object, like a block of text and get it properly aligned? I end up typing in the degrees because when I have the snaps on it goes to a location I don’t want. How do you remove the white background around a jpeg logo? I don’t have photo shop, so I did it in, but I find out later that jpeg won’t save that option, so I end up cropping the logo tightly to make it fit. So I end up deleting it, and retyping it from scratch. It’s simple in SU but I can’t seem to make it work in LO, no matter what I select. How do you highlight text to change the type font / size etc.? I did it once but haven’t been able to replicate it. Is there a way to put an auto date in a box on the title block?

So, now I have to start over from scratch. Somehow, in the process my final version vanished. Is there a way to edit / rename templates with out having to go to program files /sketchup/layout etc.? I had spent hours creating a template, and I wanted to delete the versions I didn’t like, but couldn’t find anywhere in the LO program to get rid of the unwanted versions.
